Text Box: The Cheetahs !   The Vienna Cheetahs Girls 10-U Softball Team was established in the Spring of 2006. We chose our team mascot because the Cheetah is a sleek, fast and aggressive predator. The Manager is John Lipnicky (Tori’s dad) and the coaches for the 2006 team are Glenn Larsen (Madison’s dad), Lisa Rosenberger (Michelle’s mom) and Glenn Kaup (Lauren’s dad).  Our Team Mom is Mindy Stern (Ashley’s mom). Our Team Web designer is Joe Smith (Jenna’s dad). Our other parents are supportive in many other ways.   The philosophy of our team is 1. Have fun. 2. Learn the game of Softball. 3. Like the game so much that the player will want to play again next year with even more enthusiasm. 4. That’s it. In order to have fun, one must learn the game and as she learns, the player is given more chances to play different positions. All girls bat in turn. If a player has to sit out -- only 11 players can be in the field in a given inning.  Up to 2 Girls have to sit out, and only for one inning (maximum).
